Sarah Shomstein

Sarah Shomstein is a cognitive neuroscientist, Chair of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, and Director of the Cognition Attention and Perception Lab at the George Washington University. Her research focuses on elucidating neural mechanisms of brain functioning relating to visual processing and attentional selection. Research in her laboratory employs various methods, ranging from human psychophysics and neuroimaging techniques to working with brain-damaged populations.
