Physics Mathematics Computer Science

Richard East

Richard East recently finished his PhD at the intersection of physics, mathematics, and computer science at the Université Grenoble Alpes in France. He focussed on the ZX calculus, a diagrammatic language for quantum computing, and its use as a tool in broader theoretical physics (condensed matter physics and loop quantum gravity). He previously obtained an MSc in mathematics and the foundations of computer science from Oxford, and an MPhys in theoretical physics from Manchester.
