What are chaotic systems?

What do weather reports, our solar system, and time travel have in common? And why is it so difficult to make accurate predictions about the future, even with the precise measurements that we can perform today? We will discuss these questions by taking a look at what makes our seemingly simple solar system inherently chaotic and learn what butterflies have to do with the difficulty of weather reports. In the end, we try to understand what chaos really is and how we can face the uncertainty it imposes.
