Mathematics are often abstract and seem without a purpose. Yet, they help us tackle some of the most complex questions that we're currently struggling with. One of these questions is the impact of climate change. And while it doesn't sound like it, math is often at the core of answering many questions surrounding climate change. By using climate change as a starting point, many aspects of mathematics suddenly have a purpose.
