During the Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC2026), The Hague in The Netherlands will become a travelling hotspot for scientists. We bring them in contact with classrooms at AMARE in the Hague, the Netherlands, and beyond.
The time is approaching for the EPSC Planetary Science Conference of the year in The Hague as is the best way to start the school year with space-powered motivation: the "EPSC Goes live for schools" program!
Now in its 6th edition, "EPSC Goes Live for Schools" connects scientists from around the world with local school communities. During the one week of 6–11 September 2026 get ready to explore the planets of our solar system, to learn the latest in planetary science, but also to ask your questions to early career researchers and more. Join us in person in the Hague or online in the week after, 14-18 September.
Note: If your school is located in The Hague and surroundings (Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Leiden and any town within 45' from The Hague) you have the opportunity for a scientist to visit you (STEM Lecture) and even host an art-workshop after the scientist's visit and create a stop-motion movie on the spot (STEAM Lecture).
Some of the organised activities include:
"Cosmic interviews" where students meet FEMALE researchers in person (on-site)
STOP-motion movie creation with FILM artist (on-site)
Watch here the stop-motion movies created by students in Berlin.
Interactive workshop with Mars rover prototypes by Tumbleweed
WEBINAR: SPACE-RELATED educational Resources to teachers (online)
Planetary science webinars for students (online)
FRENCH and SPANISH track lectures supporting schools in burundi and COLOmbia (online)
Languages supported:
The events will be held in English or in Dutch.
